Don't sell yourself short, friend

Recently, I listened to a meditation and it struck a chord, so I want to share the message with you ❤️

In summary it said;
“Your life can be compared to a boat that is in the harbor.
If the boat only stays in the harbor it will never serve it’s full purpose.
The boat should be in the sea moving ahead.
It should always have a destination.
The journey might not be easy.

There will be heavy winds and choppy waves with many other surprises that will need to be overcome, but as long as you know your destination and you keep the course, nothing can stop you.”

Perhaps you don’t know your ultimate destination or maybe the destination is changing as you evolve and become more clear on your wishes and desired experiences.

This week open your mind to the possibilities.

Allow yourself to dream.

We are powerful beyond measure and the more you begin to open up and unapologetically claim what you want, the more it will begin showing up in your reality.

Maybe your saying…

“But Jess, what I really want is not realistic… why would I get my hopes up? I’ve seen my past.”

Or

“Those big dreams work out for other people, but that will never be me.”

If that’s you, you are severely selling yourself short.

If you don’t believe in yourself & your own dreams, unfortunately they are never going to happen.

Don’t let what happened in the past dictate the way things will turn out in the future.

You are a different person… You are wiser, you are stronger, more aware, more compassionate, more understanding, more confident.

Unfavorable pasts teach us, and show us what we don’t want, so we can make adjustments and change our outcomes accordingly.

Your past is definitely NOT a confirmation of your future. That would be silly & we would all be running around in circles if that were the case.

You’ve evolved which means your experiences will evolve, but you have to start believing in your own possibilities.

Become clear on what you want and claim it.

As I head to South Africa, to fulfill a dream of my own, I’ll leave you with this…

What’s your destination?

Will you raise your sail & leave the harbor?

Will you believe in yourself and your ability to reach your dreams?

Don’t settle for anything less than what you want. For anything less than you deserve.
