In 2023, This Is What You Need to Leave Behind

Dec 10, 2022

Like most, you probably started 2022 full of new plans, dreams, and intentions.

However, despite the constant push towards creating more goals, making more promises, and swearing to get around to the things you need to start, it’s easy to fall into the same old patterns… never truly getting where you want to go.

We stay within the confines of what we think we should do, what we believe we can do, and we accept it.

But next year, you owe it to yourself to do things differently.

Hear me out; You're constantly being told you need to be doing more.

But, if you’re like me, more isn’t working.

More is only adding more anxiety, more frustration, more exhaustion, more disappointment (when I can't complete my todo list that has turned into more of a novel, than a list 🙄) and more feeding other people's dreams, instead of designing my own.

What I'm asking you to consider is simplifying, letting go, surrendering & saying goodbye to what is no longer working for you.

To take the LESS IS MORE approach.

When you’re courageous enough to let go, you open up space for new potential and new opportunities.

Don’t let holding on, staying comfortable and doing only what makes sense on paper keep you from having the life you crave.

Let go of the fear and worry that hides your hope to grow-- or that makes you think you’ve become as much as you ever can be, and that you should just settle....

There is a voice in your mind that is calling for your attention… begging you to take the risk and do things differently.

Not because it wants you to set fire to the good things, but because it knows just how capable you are of even better things.

Step outside of the life you pretend to love and learn what it honestly means to become…

Embrace the parts of you that you've always known existed, but were too scared to release…

Don’t let another year pass as the person you think will make everyone else happy.

YOU deserve to be happy!

You deserve to have ALL the things & experiences you want in this life. (You might be surprised at how amazing it will be to release yourself from everything you swore was meant to protect you.)

Let 2023 be YOUR year!

Here for your blissful metamorphosis 🦋,

Xo, Jess
