Ever notice how the smallest things can have the biggest impact? For me, it was a simple journal prompt..."What would you have me know today?"
Every morning I would (and still do) ask this question... and what flows out always amazes me.
I began to see how much I blamed others for my struggles with alcohol. Blamed circumstances, relationships and most of all⌠myself.
I wrote this entry early on my path in February of 2017. The divine was working through me long before I ever said goodbye... showing me how to forgive and love, which was ultimately the foundation for my freedom.
"Dear higher power, what would you have me know today." I have been projecting fear a lot in my life by not believing in myself and not allowing myself to change into the person I know I am meant to become. I have allowed negativity to stay in my life but today I forgive myself. I forgive myself for the mistakes I've made in the past and choose to not let those mistakes define me, but rather to see them through love and let them fade away as I create new miracles."
When I was finally able to see my life from a higher perspective, I realized that my soul had orchestrated every experience, every challenge, every "failure" for my growth... guiding me back to the truth of love at every turn.
Through our chakra system - from the grounding red of our root to the divine violet of our crown, each center holds both perceived limitations and the key to transforming them through forgiveness and love.
When we shift from blame to understanding, from fear to love, we don't just break free from one pattern - we break free from them all.
Almost three alcohol-free years later, I'm still in awe of how my path keeps revealing new layers of wisdom. And the most beautiful part? Divinity is available to each us in every moment.
